Ten Thousand

Saying “what kind of an idiot doesn’t know about the Yellowstone supervolcano” is so much more boring than telling someone about the Yellowstone supervolcano for the first time.

Thought this was fantastic advice. Sometimes it’s easy to belittle those we disagree with, but what good does that do anyone? It’s so much better to be kind and patient.

  1. Yeah, I do! I try to drop by there at least once a week and catch up on what I might have missed. Did you see the one he did a few months ago about “Sheeple”? I thought that one was hilarious!

  2. What we should remember is that we are ALL ignorant in many areas; no one can know everything. That is not the same as being either stupid or too pig-headed to accept new information. Keeping an open mind means being eager to acquire new information all the time, and at least giving it a chance to percolate in our brain before rejecting it.
