Interesting Discussion

Hello! So it’s been a little while since I last posted. I try to do at least one post every month, but November completely slipped by. I’ve been very busy at work, which is a great thing financially, but not so great where my blog is concerned. Nonetheless, I hope to have another post or two up very soon.

In the meantime, an interesting discussion has broken out on an old post of mine concerning the divergent birth narratives given for Jesus (this is an appropriate time of year for such a discussion). There’s a great guy on there named Dave who is a Christian, and he feels a bit outnumbered right now, as he’s the only Christian who’s commented so far. So if you’d like to check it out, head on over there, especially if you’re a Christian. He’d appreciate the support! 🙂

    OK, I haven’t yet looked at the post or the comments and I’m already sure the ‘support’ I’m going to give to Dave is the suggestion that literalism and Christianity are two very different things.

    I hope to never completely run out of things to write about, but who knows? I actually just had my 7 year anniversary doing this blog, which is hard to believe! 7 years is a really long time. It’s shot through with several hiatuses, but I’ve always managed to come back around so far…
