Was just reading an article where Ray Comfort called Stephen Hawking a “fool” for declaring he’s an atheist. One of the commenters struck me as being “right on”:
Interesting to see the contrast in attitudes. Hawking makes a statement that he is an atheist. In no way does he comment on the nature or personality of anyone who is not an atheist. “Loving” Christians respond with name calling and condemnation. Where did he bring them even into the conversation? That is the disease of believer arrogance; they matter all the time and are always right so they must criticize all who do not believe as they do.
